Wii to be without Wii Sports soon?

Wii SportsIt is no secret that the most anticipated titles for the Nintendo Wii are The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Red Steel. On the other hand, Wii Sports many not be as big as the first two but they can certainly be as fun. After all, the compilation was bundled with the console to help introduce to the people the wonders of the Wiimote.

However, we wonder if fans would be willing to shell out US$ 49.99 for the game. Why? Because it seems that Nintendo wouldn’t be including Wii Sports in the official console package soon. Over at online retailer EB Games, we saw a preorder offering the game for the said price. The pre-release note says it would become available on January 1, 2007.

Over the past few days, we’ve been hearing news that initial stocks of the console would soon be replenished. There are no words, however, if they still come with the bundle or not.
