Wii-defined party console: Mario Party 8 gameplay vids
What with games like WarioWare: Smooth Moves, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz, and Wii Sports, the Wii isn’t completely a “party console” without the game that started it all. The Mario Party series is one of the forerunners in the whole board game style genre. The franchise was one of the earliest hits to have a collection of mini-games, where the whole point of it was just to have fun (and win some stars in the process).
The franchise now running on its eighth installment; Mario Party 8 is coming to the Wii. We even have videos for you today of two mini-games as a sampling of what to expect. There’s the Water Ski gameplay and the Apple Shot gameplay. You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to figure how the controls are going to be.
The videos speak for themselves. This game does nothing but let you have fun. Chuck in Rayman Raving Rabbids on the side and you’ve got the next-gen’s ultimate party console.
The Apple Shot vid is right behind the “Full Article” link. You know what to do: click!
