Wii-Linux Proof of Concept v0.1

Homebrew developer Albert “isobel” Herranz and his team has released a new proof-of-concept application, showing the Nintendo Wii being able to run the operating system Linux.
This is a port of the GameCube–Linux project from the same team. According to isobel, this proves that viability of having GC-Linux distro contained in an ELF file.
This runs in a unmodified Nintendo Wii console with the help of the Twilight hack v0.1-alpha2 loader. Before doing anything, be sure that you have the following in your possession:
- A Nintendo Wii
- A SD card
- A SD card adapter for the Nintendo GameCube
- (optional, recommended) a USB Gecko adapter
Once you’ve obtained the following requisites, all you have to do is download the file which we hosted below. It contains a Readme.txt file which will provide you with instructions on how to install and use Wii-Linux Proof of Concept v0.1.
