Wing Island Video: Wiimote in Action
Ever tried flying one of these babies with one hand? Even experienced biplane pilots would scoff at the idea, as it’s supposed to be dangerous; but not on Wii! As you can clearly see in this Wing Island demo, the person holding the Wii Nunchuk controller in one hand is gracefully flying the plane through the sky; maneuvering with ease through the valleys and mountains. We even liked the bit where the birds or bats would fly in the way. Then, once the plane got out and spun towards the sky–the clouds and sun was a beautiful sight to behold.
Maybe you’ve also noticed that the person transferred the controller to his or her other hand while in flight. There might be some problems as the controller has to be kept in a particular position to function. Some people might find it hard to continue doing this for more than two hours. Well, we better start pumping iron so come November, our arms are prepared for very long hours grasping Wiimote.
