World Freerun Champions approve of MIrror’s Edge
Scaffoldings and roofdecks never really had that much of an appeal for us regular folks content with the feel of safe, solid ground beneath us. Not for these freerunners, though. So what did they have to say about the freerunning Mirror’s Edge (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC)? It’s a runaway winner for them. See them give their two thumbs up in the video after the jump.
So what do real World Freerun Champions think about our girl Faith doing their thing in Electronic Arts and DICE’s Mirror’s Edge? They like it, they really do.
At the World Freerun Championships held in The Roundhouse, London last month, real world Freerunners got their hands on Mirror’s Edge (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC) and gave their thumbs up to how the game was developed. They were impressed not only with the graphics of the game but also with how “real” the game felt.
Of course, what would a freerunning game’s hands-on be like without a live freerunning demo? They’ve got some pretty cool moves, I must say. I expect Freerunning classes to get a huge boost in enrollment once this game comes out. Maybe I’ll drop yoga and get classes on this instead. Maybe.
Anyway, what’s sure is that we have the video to show to you how it all went down:
