Heads up, World in Conflict fans! GamesIntel is reporting that Sierra Entertainment‘s World in Conflict will be getting two significant updates in the next game patch. The first is the introduction of a new map, and the second has to do with the release of a map editor for the game.
First off, the map! The map is called “Vineyard” and is a domination-style map with an 18-hole golf course in it. The second, and perhaps more important, update is the inclusion of a map editor. This map editor will allow you to create your own custom maps for play, which should increase the replay value of the game exponentially.
In any event, no date has been scheduled for this patch, though GamesIntel does say that it’s expected to be launched soon. Let’s just hope soon comes quickly, because we’re sure gamers have been itching for some extra replay value in this great game.
