WoW: Clarifications on TBC’s arena ratings
Just a clarification for the guys who, by some miracle, are now at the level 70 cap. Blizzard‘s Nethaera is giving you a friendly reminder regarding The Burning Crusade‘s new arena rating system, which you may have noticed, is not working yet. As she explains:
The rated arenas aren’t available until level 70 so it wouldn’t make a lot of sense to have the rankings available from the start and we’d like to make sure there is a solid population of level 70s before starting the rankings.
There is a lot of content still available to even get you to 70 to begin with and the Arenas are just a small part of that content. $99.00 is a bit high to be spending unless you bought the Collector’s Edition from someone that charged you that much as it is which the CE includes far more than just the expansion.
Thanks
As what Nethaera said, there is much more to look forward to than the game’s revamped PvP scene. The Outlands is ripe for the picking, and there’s a lot to gain from learning the new Jewelcrafting ability. And given the amount of people that might have the same ideas about the arena, it may be healthy to hang back until the servers stabilize.
