Star Wars: Galaxies Events Planned For June
Sony Online Entertainment is planning a full calendar of events for players of Star Wars: Galaxies for the month of June. Whether you’re into PvP, role-playing, space combat or parties, with over 65 player events happening in 20 different galaxies, there’ll be no shortage of things to do in the SWG universe.
Here’s a sample and run-down of some of what’s planned:
Jedi Council Meetings: Sundays in June, starting at 3:00 PM PDT – open to all light Jedi who are interested in roleplay, events and fun. This is not guild based, so all light Jedi are welcome to attend.
Sunday Night Fights: Second Sunday of the month, 1:00 PM PDT – 1 million credit prize for the winner, and 500k credit prize for the runner-up. New rules in place as of May 2006 allow the use of any weapon, any armor and any abilities that suit one’s abilities and profession. We however are keeping the rule to no deathblows and only two people to any one fight.
Cantina Crawl: Saturday, 24 June, 1:00 PM PDT – Entertainer and non entertainer are welcome to make their way from cantina to cantina, partying hard and showing off their hotpants… The color scheme is red and white.

Star Wars: Galaxies is a community that allows players a great deal of freedom to run their own events ranging from role-playing events, PvP tourneys, weddings and MOB hunts to murder-mysteries, fundraisers, role playing events, dance concerts, game shows or old fashioned parties. The only real requirement for an event is for people to attend, there are many tools available for players to help them plan their events.
