WoW: Concerns on Vindication Battlegroup population
As you all know, there’s now a World of Warcraft (WoW) dedicated forums for Battlegroup concerns for the European version of the game. This is very much appreciated by players as crossing over to other realms can prove to be precarious at times.
Anyway, we came across a topic regarding the population of Vindication Battlegroup and we thought we’d share it with you. One player noticed that the ratio of Alliance and Horde players for the whole of Vindication is about 1:4. Take note that this isn’t an official count as the player was merely expressing his opinion.
But regardless of the exact count, a ratio like this should cause some problems among players and, ultimately, for Blizzard Entertainment. There are no free or paid transfers available for Vindication as of the moment and most realms are with recommended status.
If the said player’s observations are correct, then it is logical to say that it is almost an impossibility for Horde members to play. The player added that some Alliance members are leaving the realm leaving “a bigger hole of faction imbalance and underpopulation.”
Moderator Thundgot quickly responded to this post and mentioned that while these are valid observations, they are not entirely accurate. Thundgot posted,
Vindication is actually very well balanced concerning active players of each faction. That maybe one faction isn’t as interested in PvP as the other isn’t really something easy to change. We will of course make sure the realms fill up even more, but the faction balance in the Battlegroup really looks quite good already.
