WoW confusion clear-up: Honor Display problems
There have been reports of some WoW users complaining (or rather inquiring) about the Honor tab and exactly when you’re given less or more honor for every killing and whatnot.
So to address these issues and complaints, Aeus from Blizzard EU sent out this message to clear up whatever confusion the Honor Tab is causing among WoW users:
Estimated Honor does not include diminishing returns
- Repeatedly killing the same player gives less Honor each time, until it gives nothing at the 10th and subsequent kills. This is not taken into account by the estimate, and will result in the gained Honor being lower than estimated.
Honor total wraps to 0 at 6554
- The Honor tab starts counting from 0 when you go past 6554 Honor. E.g. if you earned 10000 Honor yesterday, it’ll display as 3446. This is a display bug only, and no Honor is lost.
Previous day carries over if logged in during calculations
- If you’re logged in while the calculation runs kills and Honor will carry over to the next day, which means your estimate for that day may be way too high. This is also a display bug and the Honour you end up with is what you’ve earned.
Well, there ya have it, we hope that clears some things up for you. Make sure you check back with us because we will keep you posted on more WoW news and developments.
