WoW patch 2.0.3 buggy, needs some patching up
Apparently Blizzard left the Dark Portal open a tad too wide. Some bugs accompanied the release of the 2.0.3 patch. The World of Warcraft forums are racking up experience points in the skill of Bug (Female Dog)ing just sitting there collecting reports from players, from bad targeting to issues to some buggy GUI windows. In another thread, blue posters are asking for players experiencing some graphical glitches to submit video card details along with their complaints so that they could (try to) recreate the problem and work on it.
It’s admittedly the curse of the PC – sooner or later, you’ve got to call out the exterminator. But with this happening as players stream towards the Dark Portal in anticipation, and De Beers is looking for a few good Draenei prior to BC Day, these bugs may be more high-profile than most (apart, of course, for a game-killing bug). Our bet: expect a 2.0.4 real soon. Or maybe a 2.0.3b. We never really got the hang of these version numbers.
In the meanwhile: if you ever feel the need to just cry to someone on the phone (or tear someone a new one, also over the phone), the number is 1-WOW-DANGYOU. Okay, that’s not the real number, this is.
