WoW Arena points calculator up, ready for Season 2

World of Warcraft Arena points calculator ready for Season 2 - Image 1

As competitive PvP players in World of Warcraft (Blizzard) make ready for Season 2 of the Arena bouts, MMO Champion has set up a page-embedded calculator for computing Arena points and week ratings by Bloc. And in lieu with the changes set for Arena Season 2 (version 2.1.2), especially the new Arena point allotments for each bracket, the calculator has been calibrated to reflect those changes.

All those seasoned Arena participants can now map out their progress through consistent planning and Arena progression simulation, and set themselves some leeway for possible defeats as the season trudges on. Remember that both new players and veterans will get their standings reset to the 1500-point rating and must progress up the Season 2 ladder from there.

All those familiar with last season’s Arena rating system won’t be unfamiliar with the Season 2 system. It’s still basically the same ELO-mechanic that Season 1 used, with a stepped up cut-off allotment across all brackets. Whether skill still rewards more than time spent in the Arena, competitors will just have to discover that for themselves.

And to all those competitors, we wish you all the best of luck.
