Xbox 360 Titles Take Aussie Bestseller List By Storm

AustraliaA week ago, the Xbox 360 consoles figured prominently by becoming the fastest selling console Down Under. Now the games for the console titles have scored another feat – nine out of the top ten titles sold are for the popular console.

The Aussies seem to have gobbled up every available Xbox 360 title; perhaps their excitement to try out their newly bought Xbox 360s has spilled over to the games for that console.

Call of Duty 2, a war-based game developed by Infinity Ward, took the top slot. The only title among the top ten list that is not from Xbox is highly popular Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion for PC/Mac (8th). Here’s a complete rundown of the list.

1. Call of Duty 2 (Xbox 360)
2. Ghost Recon 3 (Xbox 360)
3. Project Gotham Racing 3 (Xbox 360)
4. Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion (Xbox 360)
5. Perfect Dark Zero (Xbox 360)
6. Fight Night Round 3 (Xbox 360)
7. NFS: Most Wanted (Xbox 360)
8. Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion )PC/Mac)
9. Quake 4 (Xbox 360)
10. Tony Hawk USA Waste+Gun (Xbox 360)

Now I know why the Xbox 360 logo carries the color green (think eucalyptus).
