XBox Live Arcade’s Edery reassures gamers: no XBLA delays

Xbox Live subscribers who are worried that they may not get their game on schedule can now breathe a big sigh of relief: David Edery said that there will be no delays on Xbox Live Arcade games, and that everyone will be able to get their XBLA games as scheduled.

He also debunked current rumors about bottlenecks in XBLA’s schedule, adding that as soon as a game gets certified, it is as good as getting into the XBLA service immediately. If ever an XBLA game gets delayed, it’s most probably due to the discretion of developers who may not want to compete with an existing XBLA title or may just want to improve the game more, Edery said.

That’s a big relief, since we just couldn’t wait for the release of these arcade shooters on XBLA. More updates to come!
