Xbox Live Avatars to get Gears of War armors

Heads up, Avatar threads coming your way. Back at the Comic-Con in San Diego, Cliff Bleszinsky and Ron Fergusson of Epic Games have announced that Gears of War-themed armors are coming to Xbox Live for your Avatars. Hit the link and check ’em out.

Heads up, Avatar threads coming your way. Back at the Comic-Con in San Diego, Cliff Bleszinsky and Ron Fergusson of Epic Games have announced that Gears of War-themed armors are coming to Xbox Live for your Avatars.

Now that I’ve made you click out of curiosity, you can now see that Epic Games is throwing two Avatar armors into Xbox Live – the COG and the Locust armors. If you have a bone to pick with the Locust Armor not looking too locust-ey, Bleszinsky pointed out that Microsoft doesn’t want inhuman-looking costumes, so they had to work around that little rule.

These will both be added upon the next dashboard update, which is reportedly coming “soon.”
