Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2007: get your cards right
Trading card duelists – hear ye, hear ye! Konami will be bringing Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2007 your portables in April this year.
Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2007 will be the official game for the annual tournament of the same name. The popular trading card game’s port to the DS will feature 1,600 of the updated cards. Players will be able to trade entire decks with other players – even with the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Spirit Caller for DS title. Players will also be able to access all of the cards in Spirit Caller via the card recipe.
Duel modes will include Limited (only a set of cards can be used), and Survival (as the name suggests, will have players fighting a number of other duelists for as long as they can). Single player duels will pit players against a number of CPU-controlled opponents. Just like Spirit Caller, this game would also feature wireless (two player battles) and Wi-Fi modes. Card trading could be done over Wi-Fi and supports Voice Chat. Plus each copy of the game includes three limited edition Yu-Gi-Oh! cards.
While we wait for the title to hit the shelves in April, here’s a sneak peek of the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2007 via screenshots.
