Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure TGS 07 screenshots
One of the many video game titles being presented by Capcom at this year’s Tokyo Game Show is the Wii-exclusive Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure. The developer said that the game will be available in retail stores beginning October 23 for US$ 39.95.
Zack & Wiki, in its very core, is a puzzle/adventure game where players can explore various environments in different stages. The objective of the game is to become the best pirate of the time. Your character (Zack) then encounters a talking skull which points you to the location of the elusive treasure.
“Innovation has been the cornerstone of Capcom’s successful history. By introducing a whole new level of interactivity, this title reinforces our commitment to pushing the limits on how people view and play games,” commented Capcom Entertainment Brand Marketing Director Jack Symon.
Speaking of interactivity, Zack & Wiki has been thoroughly made compatible with the Wiimote. Most actions will rely heavily on this such as moving and opening objects, unlocking new pathways, and turning enemies into items among others. While waiting for the release date, just enjoy these screenshots below.
