Zyon Games announces Secret Online and Childhood F2P MMORPGS
How many of you have heard of Zyon Games? Thought so. Understandable, considering that it’s a start up company. What you may be interested to know is that Zyon Games will be bringing two new games to the MMOPRPG scene, and both of these will be free-to-play. We’ll tell you a little more about them in the full article, coming right after the jump.
Granted, the MMORPG scene appears to be a saturated one, but one person still believes that the free-to-play (F2P) market may still be tapped. That person is Steve Wade, CEO of Zyon Games. In fact, the company will be publishing two new MMORPGs in the US: Childhood and Secret Online.
Childhood has been described as a cute 3D “turned based Hardcore casual MMORPG masterpiece” for both the young and the young at heart. It is reportedly quick to get into, with a humorous storyline and riveting quests.
Secret Online, on the other hand, is an MMORPG that reportedly involves a mixture of technology, sociology, politics and martial arts. Zyon Games has also thrown in 200 quests and a flexible system courtesy of the games Hr3D engine in order to fully immerse players in the experience.
Mr. Wade is quite passionate about the prospect of entering the F2P MMORPG arena. As he put it:
It is really exciting for me to be in this industry at this time. Since it is still early for the free to play space, no one really has a set formula for success; so you see a bunch of companies popping up every month or so all trying to figure it out.
A bold move on Wade’s part, as Zyon Games’ titles will be going up against the likes of more notable F2P MMOs such as Rising Force Online. Still, we can’t help but feel curious about these new games. More updates on these two new as we get them.
