The Tabula Rasa recruit

ArmorEvery single military organization draws its continuous strength from new recruits. That is why it is to their best interest that they accept only candidates possessing highest physical, mental and spiritual caliber. While the coming-soon MMO Tabula Rasa is of different universe all together, the same holds true of course for its military aspect. Here now is an introduction to the basic career paths and the attendant skills and abilities to those who will pass the recruit training.

Being the entry level, the recruit is the most basic class and as such considered to be non-specific and generalist in function. The armor for example, is just limited to the light and basic combat type.

Known as CA1, the body armor is made by Advanced Armor Industries. It is a mixture of advance ceramics, ballistic fiber and titanium composite matrixes plus the addition of Advanced Polyethylene Glycol Shear Thickening Fluid. Though it provides good ballistic protection and moderate levels of fire, as well as resistance to cold and electricity, it would always be good to have access to the full suite after reaching level 2.

WeaponAfter Energy Wave was removed as a signature move, a recruit is still left with weapons and well, his or her body. Don’t be fooled though, an unarmed recruit could very well hold its own ground given the ancient martial skills that have been distilled and refined to a fine tactical edge. On the other hand, these are what to expect for weapons:

  • Pistol –  Standard (ASM MP7-S); Laser (ASM MP7-LZ); Sonic (ASM MP7-SC); Pulse (ASM MP7-PL) and Electro (ASM MP7-EL)
  • Rifle – Standard (ASM MA1-S); Laser (ASM MA1-LZ); Sonic (ASM MA1-SC); Pulse (ASM MA1-PL) and Electro (ASM MA1-EL)
  • Shotgun – Standard (M12-S); Cryo (M12-CR); Sonic (M12-SC); Pulse (M12-PL); Pyro (M12-PR) and Flash (M12-FL)
