A video Q&A between VGB and Tetsuya Mizuguchi

After talking with the likes of the BBC, The Times, and Edge Mag, what better way to end the publicity day for Lumines creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi than with an exclusive video interview with Videogamesblogger.com? At least the PR guy accompanying VGB’s Alan thought so, and Tetsuya did say he wanted to talk to at least one blogger during the publicity blitz for Lumines II. That’s nice of him!

And lucky of Alan. After running through a demo of Lumines II, he sat down with Tetsuya, powered up that camera, and fired away! Just as lucky, Tetsuya speaks good English, as you’re about to hear from this Google vid VGB uploaded. Quite a long video (clocking over 17 minutes), Alan and Tetsuya cover a lot of ground, from past works such as Sega Rally, to the upcoming Lumines II, and plans for future games with the next-gen consoles.

Given the creativity he’s shown so far with Lumines and other titles, we can bet that Tetsuya will make the best of the next-gen wave – as well as all that current-gen has to offer – for all those future games.
