Activision trademarks Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock

Siliconera went digging again down at the USPTO, and they found a new trademark filed by Activision for what sounds like a new Guitar Hero game.

Siliconera went digging again down at the USPTO, and they found a new trademark filed by Activision for what sounds like a new Guitar Hero game.

 

This new trademark, “Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock,” doesn’t appear to be the Guitar Hero: KISS or Red Hot Chili Peppers that came into speculation some time ago, although inclusion of their music isn’t completely ruled out at this point. Warriors of Rock may be the official name of Guitar Hero 6 or what might be an entirely new game.

 

It seems likely though that that might be synonymous to Guitar Hero 6 since the game sports a quest mode where “warrior” characters can be unlocked. Gene Simmons will be narrating you through the game mode, which most likely means that’s his GH involvement, and not Guitar Hero: Kiss.
