Chocobo’s Mysterious Dungeon to have thief, scholar classes

So far, details have been scarce, but what we found out through the latest Famitsu issue is that two job classes will be in store: The Thief class and the Scholar class will both feature nice skill sets to aid you in your journey in this RPG for the Nintendo Wii.

The platform’s fans are clamoring for more games in the genre, and Square Enix is answering the call with Chocobo’s Mysterious Dungeon: Labyrinth of Forgotten Time.

That’s right, the Final Fantasy franchise spin-off is coming to the Nintendo Wii for some magic-making fun. So far, details have been scarce, but what we found out through the latest Famitsu issue is that two job classes will be in store: The Thief class and the Scholar class.

The green hat-wearing thief, as you would guess, has the ability to pilfer items from enemies and inflict swift attacks that can cause status ailments. The scholar, on the other hand, will have the ability to make Chocobos identify items and boost the goodies for maximum efficacy.

Cid, Volg, Irma, Shirma, and Moogle X from the Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales will also make appearances to please series fans.This is shaping up to be a big one for the Nintendo Wii, and we’ll keep you posted for more soon.
