City of Heroes: Meet the Giant Monsters

You know you’ve been playing City of Heroes for far too long when you’ve gone face to face with some of the most frightening and dangerous criminals in Paragon City. You’ve created a superhero who’s powerful enough to give those supervillains a really good wallop. But if you’ve been doing your usual round of superhero deeds in just a couple of zones, chances are, you’ve yet to meet other creepy yet more ambitious villains. They are not your usual gang members gifted with super powers, they are those that threaten your very existence just by looking at them.

The Federal Bureau of Super-powered Affairs officially calls them “Threats”, but to those who’ve witnessed what they can do, these “Threats” have come to be known as “Giant Monsters”. That’s enough to conjure up images of bulky, slimy, radioactive reptile of choice, but they all come in different shapes and sizes, one more villainy than the other.

With help from gutsy photographers, Jackson Turner exposed 15 of the most terrifying villains in Paragon City.
