September is the month to watch if you’re a fan of high-octane racing. Codemasters has sent out word announcing the official release dates for the console and handheld versions of Colin McRae: DiRT 2.
Gamers in the US will be the first to get their hands on DiRT 2 thanks to the game’s September 8. Europe, Asia, and Canada will see a September 10 launch while the UK gets it a day later on September 11.
The dates above are for the game’s Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, DS and PSP versions. PC gamers will have to wait a while longer as the PC version still doesn’t have a final launch date. You can blame DirectX 11 for that.
