Creat Studios has sent out a press release detailing two of their upcoming PSN offerings: Digger and Mushroom Wars. The former is a remake of the ’80s PC game of the same name while the latter is a real-time strategy game involving, well, mushrooms.

The Digger remake will feature 60 levels of underground mazes, 240 special challenges and a non-stop Survival mode. For the Trophy-hungry, yes, there are Trophies. Even secret ones. You can also switch from the HD mode to Vintage mode and play the game in all its old school glory: original mechanics and levels – even the original graphics and sounds.

Mushroom Wars is an RTS that focuses on skirmish gameplay. Battles will take place on smaller, close-quarters maps. There are 18 levels you can play through in Skirmish mode, and the further you advance the more AI opponents you have to overcome. You can also play through a 25-level Campaign mode.

For multiplayer, there’s a rating system that calculates your relative skill level compared to that of your opponent. There’s a Domination mode where you have to control key strategic points and there’s also a Conquest mode where the only way to win is to completely crush your enemies into the ground.

Mushroom Wars also supports custom soundtracks and VOIP. Players can also upload their gameplay videos to YouTube.

Both Digger and Mushroom Wars will be available on the PlayStation Store this summer.
