“EarthWiirm” Jim? Shiny Entertainment sets eyes on Wii

Earthworm Jim from ShinyBlasting from the past, Shiny Entertainment is making waves once more and causing people to squirm like little worms on a hook… Or in this case, worms in a robot suit.

From the whole Atari squabble earlier this year, Foundation 9 has now bought Shiny. And as we speak, there’s a job posting in Gamasutra asking for a Wii Engine Programmer.

Finally, they’re getting some progress. It has already been hinted that Earthworm Jim could possibly jump into the next-gen console but nothing has been confirmed yet. All we know for now is that Shiny is setting their eyes on the Wii. But as to what game they’re requiring that Wii Engine Programmer for, let’s all just hope that we hear from them soon.

If we’d make an assumption, by this time next year,we could be seeing more killer goldfish, monkey-headed scientists, psychotic space crows, and some duodenum action. (Ooh, that sounded so wrong…)
