Konami: Play.com limited release bundle is only bundle planned for UK

Looks like MGS fans in the UK will have to settle for the Play.com Limited Release edition we reported about last week as it’s the only MGS4 bundle headed for the region.

Confirmation about this issue came from a Konami UK spokesperson who said that “no bundles other than the limited edition Play.com figurine set have been planned for the UK.”

SCEE will be offering a PlayStation 3 console that comes with a copy of MGS4, but that bundle only includes a black 40GB PS3 and a Sixaxis controller. The ultra-limited Gunmetal Gray PS3 bundle will be available for a whopping US$ 599 in the U.S., but only on Konami’s online store.

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will launch worldwide on June 12.
