Left 4 Dead 2 getting auto-spawning tweaks, infected bots

One on one matches in Left 4 Dead 2 will get a bit more interesting soon. Valve has revealed plans to add Infected bots in the game’s next PC and Xbox 360 update as well as some changes to auto-spawning in Versus finales.

The addition of Infected bots should also make things easier for the Infected team as they can be used to fill up space when the team’s down a man or two.

 

Aside from the Infected bots, Valve is also looking into removing auto-spawning in Versus finales. The devs are still crunching the numbers to see how finales play out before they make any changes, though.

Valve hasn’t laid down a release target for the update yet, but they have assured gamers that work on “The Passing” is in full swing. Voice recording will apparently commence sson, so the release may not be too far off.
