Metal Gear Solid 4 to open its doors to Xbox 360?
This is definitely one rumor that Sony and its fans won’t be too happy about, especially if it turns out to be true. Word is that the PlayStation 3 title Metal Gear Solid 4 will cease to be exclusive to the platform and will be heading its way over to the Xbox 360 as well.
Now, nothing’s been confirmed by Konami, but the supposed reason as to the expansion of the game’s portability is due to the publishers’ belief that there won’t be enough PS3 supplies in the market when the game launches. There’s even a target date as to when it will come out for Microsoft‘s next-gen console. According to what’s going around the grapevine, it will be out for the Xbox 360 a month after the PS3 version.
Again, nothing’s confirmed, and we’re taking this as but a rumor. Still, it wouldn’t hurt to find out if it’s true or not, right? After all, a company like Sony losing a big exclusive like MGS 4 makes for some pretty big news, if it does turn out to be for real.
