Rumor: 'Avatars' are Microsoft's take on Mii's and Home? - Image 1

Back when PlayStation Home was first introduced, Nintendo called it the “Mii-too approach.” Can someone say Mii-three? Word has spread that Microsoft will be introducing its own Mii-type avatars (simply called Avatars) come this holiday season.

The image above was taken from an online survey, revealing details about the Avatars. According to the site, the Avatars will be fully customizable, and from the looks of it will be far more detailed than their almost-stick-figure Mii counterparts.

Will we be able to make our own Ryu Hayabusa avatar? Or even a Master Chief avatar? Who knows. Aside from taking the place of gamer pictures, no other details have been revealed as to what other features these Avatars have.

For now, this is still classified under rumors, until they are solidly confirmed by Microsoft. With E3 just around the corner, we probably don’t have long to wait long either. Penny for your thoughts, gamers?
