Microsoft to finally implement warranty extension to X360?

Before we proceed, read the attachment first:

X360 warranty

We know you are all bobbing up and down right now with joy because of this. However, as much as we hate to rain on your parade, we’re posting this under rumor. While the original source of this message mentioned that it is a hundred percent legitimate, we would like first to to confirm the matter. Morning is just a couple of hours from now anyway.

In the event that this turn out to be true, well, it’s about time. It would be remembered that not too long ago, there was an online petition calling for changes in Microsoft‘s warrant policy. There was also an instance when the company sent out Extended Warranty Letters to subscribers detailing how they can purchase warranty plans. Obviously, it didn’t become popular to the community.

It also seems that the attached image is somewhat tampered with at the end. At the fear of being called cynical, we’re wondering if there are any strings attached. If there’s none, this then indeed is a good way to celebrate Christmas. We’ll keep you updated as soon as possible.
