New Super Puzzle Fighter Turbo II Xbox Live dashboard themes

 

Ah, old-school gaming. Names like Street Fighter, Ryu, and Ken really do take us back to Memory Lane, reminiscing about the good-old days where we spend our idle afternoon plunking tokens into an arcade cabinet, mashing the buttons like mad while shouts of Hadouken! and Shoryuken! burn into your ears.

Okay, enough about that. Having the good relics of the past displayed on your Xbox Live console is undoubtedly better than closing your eyes and brooding about the good old days. Check out the neat Super Puzzle Fighter II artwork slated to be used as Xbox Dashboard themes, available for download very soon. There will be three themes, as we can see in the above picture: One theme includes all characters in Super Puzzle Fighter II, while the other two themes feature the boys and the girls from the game.

Capcom Digital’s Brian Dunn also held a poll asking which of the cutesy Puzzle Fighter characters to include in the upcoming gamer pic pack for the Xbox 360. After reading the poll results he decided to include all the characters in the pack for a single price, which will be revealed closer to the release date of the pack.

Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix will be available for download for both Xbox Live and PlayStation network soon, featuring new graphics, menus, and user interface.
