Mirror's Edge - Image 1 Last week, we’ve heard Sony talk about how developers should start using the PlayStation 3 as their native development platform to increase game quality not only for games in the console, but also for their Xbox 360 counterparts. EA DICE, however, seems to need no such reminder as they’ve revealed that the PS3 is the lead platform for the development of Mirror’s Edge (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC).

This is according to the September issue of the Official PlayStation Magazine shown in the scan which you can view in full by following the source link below. PS3 fans should feel proud that the game is looking fab as it was developed with the PS3 as the main consideration.

If you haven’t been keeping tabs on Mirror’s Edge, it’s an action-FPS with acrobatic elements added into the gameplay. It’s set to go out later this year simultaneously for all its host platforms.
