PSP Slim and Lite UK launch moved and other rumors
The PSP Slim and Lite is now available for pre-order in the UK with a launch date of September 14. This is pretty strange considering Sony‘s initial announcement at the Leipzig Games Convention stated that the updated PSP will be available by September 5 in Europe.
French retailers have confirmed that the PSP Slim will still be making the September 5 launch date in their area. They have also given word that the Ice Silver model will be available for pre-order as well unlike in the UK where, rumor has it, only the piano black will be made available at launch. In addition to this, it has been said that the PSP Slim video-out cables may not be available at launch, but on a later date.
If the rumors hold true, then UK based gamers might want to consider holding off purchasing a bit until both the different colored PSP and video-out cables become available.
