PSPQsteer Beta – use your PSP as an RC controller

When we saw PicoozIR, we were very impressed. Well, it looks like PlayStation Portable homebrew developer pacopad is looking to wow us once again with PSPQsteer. This spanking application turns your PSP into a RC controller. Check out the full version for more info.

The last time we heard from PlayStation Portable homebrew developer pacopad was for PicoozIR‘s release. Today, we got another release from the French developer: PSPQsteer, a homebrew application that lets you use your Sony portable as an RC controller.

The Tomy Qsteer cars are pretty simple, you get a small controller and a small IR operated car. Pacopad’s PSPQsteer allows users to choose from four channels (A – Triangle, B – Square, C – Circle, and D – Cross) and users can control the car using the D-pad (plus the right trigger button for dash) to control the car.

This release of PSPQsteer is still on beta so pacopad is calling for some comments and suggestions about this initial release. This doesn’t come with a readme, but installation is simple – just drop the files on your GAME folder. Check out the download below and test it out on your Qsteer. Enjoy!
