Tabula Rasa answers some question for Feedback Friday - Image 1Another Friday is upon us as Critters, Tabula Rasa‘s Community Coordinator, answers more questions about Richard Garriott’s Tabula Rasa from NCsoft. Today’s feedback answers some of the basic questions such as the game’s Referral Program, network ping numbers, and the possible implementation of new paint colors for your character.

Tabula Rasa‘s Referral Program works much like that of other MMORPGs, where a three-day trial is given to a friend and when he or she purchases a Tabula Rasa serial code and at least one month of subscription then the one who referred that person will get a month of free game time.

It was also discussed that the high traffic of game support for the game doesn’t allow an instant response from the in-game GMs. Critters counseled patience on the part of the gamers while they work on resolving any issues you are experiencing while playing.

On the technical side, Critters explains the changes to the Network Ping indicator and what the numbers exactly mean. According to the latest patch, the number simply indicates the time for messages to travel over the Internet to the server and back. He mentioned that “the new method should give players a much better tool to evaluate their network’s performance when they play Tabula Rasa“. This new method was vastly superior way to keep tabs on players’ performance so that the technical support team can easily help them with any issues they have in the game.

Finally, it was mentioned that there won’t be any Mac support for Tabula Rasa. The game was specifically built for the PC and while some Mac systems can run a Windows OS, this setup is not officially supported.
