Rumor: Dead Rising 2 trailer leaked

That’s if this supposedly leaked trailer for (the supposedly multiplatform) Dead Rising 2 is any indication. Heck, let’s throw in rolling hamster balls and Frank West in his Megaman suit too, while we’re at it.

Right off the bat, we’ll have to stick the rumor label here since the sequel has never been confirmed by Capcom. Though last week, series creator Keiji Inafune spoke of a Dead Rising sequel – he even went so far as to say that they’re trying to get it multiplatform. A Capcom rep from the UK however mentioned that Inafune’s quote must have been mistranslated.
Now some people suspect that this trailer was deliberately leaked by Capcom as viral marketing. Perfectly reasonable. There’s also, of course, the other side of the coin, calling this out as fake. What’s you’re two cents?
