Skyguard Silver Cross on a level 19 twink in World of Warcraft

 

Twinks, whether you love or hate them, they’re a fact of life on the PvP server in Blizzard‘s World of Warcraft. These low leveled characters are equipped with some of the most powerful items that they normally wouldn’t have the means to get. However, most members of teams or guilds normally chip-in to get some of the stuff needed to make the twink powerful. A particular level 19 twink by the name of DirtyBishop was recently discovered to be carrying the Skyguard Silver Cross.

For those who aren’t familiar with the item, the Skyguard Silver Cross is a unique trinket which binds when picked up. To be able to equip it requires gaining reputation from the Sha’tari Skyguard to the point where the player is considered exalted.  The item when equipped improves critical strike rating by 34 and give a player a 30% chance of increasing attack power by 140 when for every kill target that gives experience or honor.

Having this item on the PvP scene at level 19 is just plain amazing. There has been a report that it took his guildmates farming for four and a half weeks to get it. In addition to this, DirtyBishop had to maintain a distance far enough from the party to not gain experience points yet close enough to get the reputation points, a herculean feat if I do say so myself. As testament to the efforts of the character and guild, it’s listed in The Armory that DirtyBishop has 16976 honorable kills. Not bad for a level 19 character.
