Smash Bros. Brawl site character update: Fox
The Super Smash Bros. Brawl site has just been updated with a new profile of a playable character in the game: Fox.
So who exactly is Fox? Those who’ve played the Star Fox series know who Fox McCloud is, and we bet they’re eager to see him in action in Nintendo’s latest offering for the Wii. For those who don’t know who Fox is though, and don’t realize that he’s an anthropomorphic game character created by Takaya Imamura and Shigeru Miyamoto, we’ll still bet they’ll be excited about this character’s inclusion, if not about the other playable characters in the game. (Go research anthropomorphism, too, while you’re at it.)
Fox’s costume in Super Smash Bros. Brawl has been updated to better complement his abilities in the game – Fox McCloud is considered a “speed character”. If you dig through your old Star Fox 64 game though, this new suit in the Nintendo Wii game looks just like a version of his green suit, with a jacket whose sleeves have been rolled up to his elbows.
The new character profile on the site doesn’t give any more details about Fox, but it did provide us with some new screenshots featuring Star Fox‘s hero in action. Take a look at the screenshots below.
