Electronic Arts lines up games for the Wii

Electronic Arts - Image 1Electronic Arts will be shipping a considerable line up of games for the Nintendo Wii, including SSX: Blur, Tiger Woods: PGA TOUR 07, The Godfather: Blackhand Edition and Medal of Honor: Vanguard, plus spin-off Sims title MySims slated to come fall of 2007.

The giant publisher famous for microtransactions will be catering their games to a much wider audience, which could only be accomplished with the revolutionary console from Nintendo. Each game will be tweaked to take advantage of the unique mechanics of the Wiimote, and to create an enjoyable experience for a broader gaming market.

Titles like SSX BlurThe Godfather: Blackhand Edition and Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 07 may sport additional content and will promote Wii-friendly gameplay, including gameplay controls with the nunchuk add-on. Each title is currently tagged at US$ 49.99.

MySims
will take a different turn for the Sims franchise by immersing the player into the Sims world, where exploration and interactivity will open up a whole new world for players. Fans of the Sims series will be able to explore a mysterious forest located just beyond the Town Center where adventure awaits. The new branch of games for the Sims series will be available by the third or fourth quarter of 2007.
