Tekken: Dark Resurrection Confirmed for July 6

Bandai-Namco Games has confirmed that the PSP action game “Tekken: Dark Resurrection” will be released on July 6 in Japan, priced at 5,040 JPY ($42.7 USD).

– Ghost Download

“Tekken DR” supports not only the V.S. battle function through the AdHoc mode, but also the Infrastructure mode for some better use. You can download ghost data created by players from all-around the world, and fight the ghost data on your own PSP. You can also download the ghost data onto your memory stick through your PC if you don’t have a WiFi connection.

The downloaded ghost character data can be accessed in “Arcade Mode” and “Tekken Dojo”. However, online V.S. is not possible.

The ghost character in “Tekken DR” is the recording of the character’s action. You can upload/download this data onto the internet, to share your own ghost data with others, or download and fight with the ghost data. An international fighting can be achieved through this way.

– Network Ranking

You can also upload your “Attack Mode” high score onto the internet to get a “Network Ranking”, besides downloading the ghost data. The “Network Ranking” will contain high scores from “Time Attack”, “Survival” and “Gold Rush” mode. According to the ranking you get through this mode, you will be rewarded with some “fight money”. But, it is not possible to participate in the ranking through the PC.

– Opening Movie

The PSP version comes with the best opening movie in this series. Some unpublished video clips are included in the PSP version, which makes the PSP version of the opening movie the most complete one.

– Character Customize

The famous “character customize” sysmte will also be present in the PSP “Tekken DR”. The usable item count will be twice as many as the original Tekken 5. The costumes for 2P and 3P will also be accessable. You can buy new items for your character with the “fight money” you earn in the game.
