Tenchu Senran Intro Video
I have very fond memories of the Tenchu series. I know the Tenchu games haven’t been famous for it’s smooth gameplay, but I loved it so much for it’s knack for setting up the ambience just right. Whenever I played I felt like I was watching an import copy of those weird goofy Japanese Ninja Soaps. Now, before other Tenchu fanboys go up in arms over my issues with the series’ gameplay, the “smooth gameplay” only becomes smooth if you manage to adapt yourself to its outlandishly cumbersome control scheme and its very bad camera.
If you manage the paradigm shift, then good for you. You were probably able to enjoy hours and hours of sneaking, stealth-killing, poison-rice throwing, animal-call making ninja fun.
We’ve posted trailers and screenshots of FromSoftware‘s latest installment in the Tenchu series, Tenchu Senran before. The one we have for download below is the intro video of the game for the Xbox 360.
It’s crisp, it’s dramatic, it’s soap-opera-like, it shows off the 360’s power, and it’s downright cool. Watch it for yourself. Enjoy, people.
