TGS 2006: Koei Lineup

Koei TGS

Koei, known for Dynasty Warriors, surprisingly has no Dynasty Warriors game for the Tokyo Game Show this year. What they do have is good ‘ol Samurai Warriors. Check out the list! In addition to Samurai Warriors overload, they also have a bunch of games that look like they’re specifically aimed at the Japanese market. All but two of the games are going to be playable, so expect more details soon!

PlayStation 3

PlayStation 2

  • Samurai Warriors 2 Empires (Playable)
  • Romance of Three Kingdoms XI (Playable)
  • G1 Jockey 4 2006 (Playable)
  • Harukanaru Jikuu no Uchi de Mai Ichi Yoru (Playable)

PlayStation Portable

  • Samurai Warriors Mahjong (Playable)

Wii

  • Samurai Warriors Wave (Movie)

Nintendo DS

  • Samurai Warriors Mahjong (Playable)
  • Harukanaru Jikuu no Uchi de Mai Ichi Yoru (Playable)

G1 Jockey 4 2006 is a horse racing game that will not be released overseas. Horse racing games are big in Japan but not anywhere else. We wouldn’t expect to see the mahjong games or Harukanaru Jikuu no Uchi de Mai Ichi Yoru (a dating sim) outside of Japan either. Although Dynasty Warriors’ absence is still mysterious.
