The ultimate road trip: screenshots of 2 Days to Vegas

The game may not be set in Vice City or San Andreas, but the undertone is certainly there. Steel Monkeys‘ 2 Days to Vegas (PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3) is a sandbox type third person shooter with a lot of similarities to the Grand Theft Auto series. However, there are some pointed differences as you can see from some of the screenshots we’ve collected from the game.

It may not be exactly be Vice City or San Andreas, but you can’t help but make the comparison. In a first look at Steel Monkeys‘ 2 Days to Vegas, we have some nice screenshots taken from the game.

Judging from the visuals, it may seem that 2 Days to Vegas has taken a nod in the direction of the well-known Grand Theft Auto series. Still, there are some very distinct differences between the two (hint: the scantily clad showgirls may be one of them).

The developers mention that the game will be storyline-centric, much like a movie, rather than your typical third person shooter. Based on the pretty screenshots, though, you can tell that they took a lot of painstaking detail to make it look like a movie at least.

In any case, the game is expected to be released some time this year for the PC, Xbox 360, and the PlayStation 3. Until then, we’ll all have to bide our time with some of the amazing eye candy from the game. Enjoy!
