Two new scans of Super Mario Galaxy from Famitsu

Two new scans full of galaxy-romping joy headed for you in this scan update of Super Mario Galaxy for the Nintendo Wii, courtesy of the good people over at Famitsu. We get you the skinny on what to expect from the red-capped plumber and his intergalactic escapades.

In these scans, we see more of the next-gen goodness of Super Mario Galaxy, with its almost CGI-quality graphics. We see the requisite goombas, the green sewer pipes that’s a regular mode of transport in the Super Mario Universe, as well as fire-breathing Bowser himself.

One thing to really take note of, though, is the Princess on the top-right corner of the second scan. We’re not sure if she’s still the Princess Peach we’ve busted our thumbs trying to rescue in the N64 game – but if she isn’t, we’re glad Mario’s not above rescuing somebody other than Peach – and Bowser not above breaking monotony.

Updates as we get them. In the meantime, enjoy the scans!
