WoW addon: PitBull crashes solved with 2.1.3

WoW addon: PitBull crashes solved with 2.1.3 - Image 1

We’re happy to report that report that Raiders using the PitBull addon for their intense runs down the gauntlet has been addressed by both the Quality Assurance teams and the development teams at Blizzard. And it looks like Blizzard’s version 2.1.3 patch pretty much covers the recurring problems with the LUA-based mod.

PitBull is a trusty tool for the pro and the learning Raider prior to 2.1.2, but as soon as the 2.1.2 patch went live in the world realms, everything from system stalls to complete crashes with dumps occurred for many users using the addon, and they’ve managed to post up crash dumps on the Net for quick reference.

And boy did Blizzard address it quick: the problems should no longer occur with 2.1.3, unless there’s another issue that hasn’t been discovered and has yet to occur with the mod. And no, that doesn’t include mechanics with the mod, just client issues with the mod.
