WoW mods: NotesUNeed, Book of Crafts, & Perl Classic Unit Frames

Book of Crafts v2.03f - Image 1We have here some more World of Warcraft mods that you can use to make your WoW playing less tedious, more organized, and a lot more enjoyable. The first mod we have here is Tellic of Dragonblight’s NotesUNeed.

Basically, this is a searchable, feature-laden notes database allowing the player to keep notes on friends, ignores, guild mates, any player you party with or target, or any player at all, whether they belong to your Faction or the Opposing Faction. It might remind you of an earlier mod we featured called Karma, which does the same thing.

The second WoW mod we have today is Blackdove’s Book of Crafts v2.03f. It’s a simple add-on which gives you info about your other character’s crafts. When this is activated, it will list which character knows the recipe when you display the recipe tooltips. Aside from that it also lists which character may learn it now and which of them could learn it later. A simple message is displayed when no character of yours is concerned by this recipe.

Lastly, we focus our attention to Perl Classic Unit Frames 2.03c by Global. Originally by Perl, it was created with endgame raiding in mind. The raiding environment is filled with all the video and game lag that can possibly be thrown at the player. Due to this demanding environment, Perl Classic was written to operate of basic game events instead of custom made detection methods. Basically, Perl Classic provides basic game information in a clean and easy to read format. Global just gave this baby a few tweaks.

Now that the enumeration part is over, we head on over to the download links. As always, separate download links for each of them mods so as you won’t have to download something that you feel you can’t use. With that, have fun playing WoW!
