Samsung has designed the Helix which offer satellite radio and MP3 music in one little portable receiver. It has XM’s 160 channels of commercial free music and premiers sports, news and talk radio plus the ability to store and play your own music. You can create your own music collections and it comes with the XM passport mini tuner cartridge which delivers XM programming to your radio through your home docking station. You can also bookmark songs on XM player that you can later purchase from XM or Napster.

Some other features are:

• 1GB Flash memory

• Up to 50 Hours of XM programming in memory

• 1.7” TFT color Screen

• Home Cradle with XM antenna included

• Plays pre-recorded XM content

• Rechargeable battery

• Supports MP3/WMA files from your personal collection or a pay service.

All this is comes in a small wearable player which will cost around $400 USD. It will officially launch at a Samsung event on April 25 at the Time Warner Center.
