12-inch Solid Snake comes out this November

Solid Snake from MGS4 - Image 1In the same sense that children have been hurt after playing with their Wiis, hearing the words “12-inch” and “Solid Snake” (especially if followed immediately after “I’m playing with my”) will surely cause some raised eyebrows and furrowed foreheads. However, literally speaking, there really isn’t anything wrong with it.

Kojima Productions has announced that the 12-inch Solid Snake toy, err, figurine that we’ve seen last year will be released this November. From the picture itself, you can see that it’s based on the MGS4: Guns of the Patriots Solid Snake.

Meticulously designed by MGS4 art director Yoji Shinkawa and developed and created at the Medicom labs, this figurine incorporates the RAH 301 technology, which allows you to move around his joints and still maintain a realistic bodyline. Yeah, while there’s next-gen gaming on our minds, there’s also next-gen toy-manufacturing.
