Rumor: Big Sisters Stalk Onto BioShock 2 - Image 1

Don’t ask me how or why but some people are apparently doubting – after so many press releases from 2K Games – that BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams would be heading to the PS3. 2K made a firm stand on the matter before, that the game will end up on the Xbox 360, PC, and PS3. Recent rumors, however, have muddied the waters of Rapture.

A very recent release schedule from 2K Games listed BioShock 2 with a “TBA” platform status. This has fired online speculation into thinking that the sequel may not get a PS3 release after all. A spokesperson for 2K has contacted CVG to clarify everything though: the game is “definitely coming to Sony‘s console,” they write.

However, the interesting part here is when CVG asked whether the Xbox 360 would be getting a timed-exclusivity deal with BioShok 2, just like the one year gap between the 360 and PS3 versions of the first game. 2K has yet to respond to this query.
